Independent Dyslexia Consultants (IDC) have been working with dyslexic adults and children for over 25 years, as well as those who have dyspraxia, dyscalculia and ADD/ADHD.

Our focus is in developing the individual's skills and abilities to enable them to become more successful.

We take a holistic, lifespan approach to dyslexia and other syndromes viewing them as much more than an educational matter – the impact in both children and adults; on education and the workplace; on day-to-day life and in times of transition.

Background

IDC (formerly the Adult Dyslexia and Skills Development Centre) was established in 1993, and has an excellent reputation.

We have assessed, coached and trained thousands of individuals, from all ages and occupations – from architects to zoologists. We have worked on a consultancy basis for government agencies, a large number of other organisations, and for universities, colleges and schools.
