We offer services based on over 30 years of experience and practice, all informed by the most up-to-date research.

We assess, coach, and train individuals, of all ages and from all occupations.

We also work on a consultancy basis for businesses, government agencies, universities, colleges, and schools.

Experience

We have an extensive network of experienced people who can provide advice and support across the Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia ADD/ADHD and Autism.

Services

We offer the services required to support individuals and organisations. We specialise in assessments as well as coaching and mentoring.

The purpose of assessment and diagnosis is to provide an explanation for difficulties and challenges to ultimately lead to greater self understanding.

    Professor David McLoughlin Ph.D., AFBPsS, C.Psychol

    David is a registered Educational and Occupational Psychologist who provides diagnostic assessments for people of all ages, including children. He also provides career guidance for adolescents and adults.

  • Carol

    Dr Carol Leather BA Hons, PGCE, AMBDA, Ph.D.

    Carol has 30 years of consultancy, coaching and training experience. She has worked one-to-one with many clients in education and employment to help them succeed. She is particularly interested in research and evidenced based practice.

    Rosalind Owens MSc, PGCE, C.Psychol

    Rosalind has been associated with Independent Dyslexia Consultants for almost thirty years working as an educational psychologist assessing children and teenagers for SpLD. These can include dyslexia, dyspraxia and dyscalculia.

    Jane Myers MSc, MAC, EMCC

    Jane is a qualified Performance Coach and Facilitator, with a background in psychology. She has over 20 years experience delivering training and coaching.

    Dr Amanda Abbott-Jones BA Hons, MA, PGCE(FE), CertSpLD, MA/MScSpLD, EdD

    Amanda is an accomplished dyslexia practitioner. Her own late diagnosis of dyslexia has driven her passion to work with and support students with dyslexia.

    Dr Alan Martin Ph.D., C.Psychol

    Alan was the Dean of Psychology at the University of Buckingham and now works as an associate with IDC providing diagnostic assessment for adults in Higher Education.
